New York JFK Airport has the following services available in each terminal:

Paging, Traveler’s Aid, Hotel Reservations and Mobile Phone Rental.

Wi-fi

Wireless internet is provided throughout the terminal buildings by Boingo Wireless and a variety of rates are charged.

Medical Facilities

For medical emergencies, trained medical technicians are available 24 hours a day. The closest pharmacy permitted to fill prescriptions is the Wakefield Pharmacy, located a few minutes away from the airport at 13525 Lefferts Boulevard, Jamaica, New York. In addition to this, non-prescription medicine can be purchased at the pharmacy at Terminal 4 between 7:00 am and 11:00 pm.

For the services of a doctor, a privately operated medical building, staffed by doctors 24 hours a day, seven days a week, is also available for travelers at JFK International Airport. Call: 877 JFK DOCS (877 535 3627) for a free shuttle to the medical facility.

Tourist Information

To assist tourists, JFK International Airport features information booths, very conveniently located on the arrivals level of all terminals

Telephone Booths

Every bank of phones at JFK International Airport includes one amplified phone for the hearing impaired.

Restrooms

Each terminal at the airport features at least one wheelchair accessible restroom. Information booths located on the arrivals level in any of the terminals are always available to provide assistance in locating these restrooms.

Drinking Fountain

Fountains easily accessible to travelers with disabilities are available in all terminals at the airport.

Planemates

For the convenience of travelers, Planemates or mobile lounges are used in some instances to transport passengers between arriving and departing planes. Planemates are wheelchair accessible. Reserved spaces are designated using the international accessibility symbol.

Special Assistance Vehicles
